Paola Lamberti

Paola Lamberti is a PhD candidate in Visual Culture and Adjunct Lecturer in Digital Media Storytelling at the University of Salerno, where she collaborates with LABSAV – Audiovisual Storytelling Laboratory and OCPG – Observatory on Communication, Participation, and Youth Cultures. Her research lies at the intersection of film and media studies, visual culture and environmental humanities. She focuses on regimes of visibility, media temporalities and affective assemblages within digital platforms, with particular attention to the role of images in shaping forms of attention and practices of care, understood as aesthetic dispositifs for the reworking of experience in contexts of ecological crisis. She has been a visiting PhD researcher at the University of Lausanne (Section d’Histoire et Esthétique du Cinéma) and collaborates on teaching and editorial initiatives in the field of visual culture and contemporary media.
