
Docteur ès Lettres (Paris 8) and PhD in Philosophy (Federico II, Naples), Full Professor of Aesthetics and Visual Culture and scientific head of the Audiovisual Storytelling Lab-LABSAV, Fimiani currently is Director of the PhD Program in Politics and Communication and Dean’s delegate to the PhD and graduate schools in Humanities in Salerno University. He is co-editor of Aisthesis and head of UNIFEST in Linea d’Ombra Film Festival.
Devoted to critical theory of the images, Fimiani focuses the interactions between the visual and rhetoric in literature, artistic poetics and media literacies.
