Dario Cecchi

Dario Cecchi teaches Aesthetics at Sapienza University of Rome, where he previously was Research Fellow. He got a PhD in Philosophy (Aesthetics and Ethics) at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and was Postdoc at EHESS, Paris. In 2022 he was Visiting Scholar at Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena. His research is concerned with: pragmatist aesthetics (Dewey); the aesthetics of reception (Iser, Jauss); and the contemporary interpretation of Kant’s Third Critique (Arendt, Garroni, Lyotard). It also deals with: the theory of image and narrative; the political and social aesthetics.
