Daniele Guastini is Full Professor of Aesthetics at Philosophy Department, “Sapienza” University, Rome. For two years (2008-9 and 2009-10) he has held Seminars at the EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales) in Paris. Since 2008 he is member emeritus of the ‘Lorenzo Valla’ Foundation. In 2017 he was awarded a research fellowship at the DEA (Directeurs d’Etudes Associés), funded by the FMSH (Fondation Maison Sciences de l’Homme) in Paris. Among his most distinguished publications: one book entitled Prima dell’estetica (Laterza, 2003); a commented edition of Aristotle’s Poetics (Carocci, 2010) and one book entitled Immagini cristiane e cultura antica (Morcelliana 2021).
